Access Control System Toronto
Access control system in Toronto, installed by our Leslieville crew: fobs, cards or a phone tap replace keys, so you decide who opens which door and when. Every door is wired to a controller you manage from a browser or app, so a lost fob is shut off in seconds and every entry is logged.
Access control starts at $1,649 + HST per door.
What you control
- Who: every person gets their own fob, card or phone credential, never a shared code.
- Which doors: the front entrance, back door, stockroom, server room or office suite.
- When: staff hours, cleaners at night, and doors that unlock on their own during business hours.
- History: a log of every entry, and an alert when a door is forced or propped open.
What goes on each door
A reader outside, an electric strike or magnetic lock, an exit button or motion sensor inside, and a contact that knows if the door is shut. Cable runs back to a controller with a battery backup, so doors keep working through a short power cut. Glass doors and old wooden doors get hardware made for them.
Planning it right
Exit doors must always open from the inside. Magnetic locks release on fire alarm and on power loss, and we work with your fire alarm contractor to tie them in. We also check the door itself: a worn closer or a frame out of square will defeat any lock.
For condo and apartment buildings, a key fob door entry system adds elevators and amenity rooms. Pair the front door with intercom and buzzer installationso visitors can be let in from a phone, and addcommercial security cameras to see who used each fob. New doors may need network cabling first.
