IP Camera System Installation
IP camera system installation gives your home or business wired network cameras recording to a recorder in your own building, with live view on your phone and no monthly storage fee. Because we also install office networks, the rack, cable labels and testing are done to that standard.

How an IP system fits together
- Cameras: network cameras, each on its own Cat6 run back to the recorder.
- PoE switch: powers every camera over that same cable, so no outlet is needed at the camera.
- Recorder (NVR): records around the clock to hard drives sized for how many days you want to keep.
- App: live view, playback and alerts on your phone, set up with strong passwords and current firmware.
Why record on site
Most cloud cameras charge a monthly fee to store footage, and they stop uploading when the internet drops. A recorder in your building keeps recording through an outage, holds weeks of footage with no subscription, and lets you export a clip for police or insurance in a few minutes. Add a small battery backup and it rides through short power cuts too. You can still watch from anywhere.
What we leave behind
- The recorder and switch in a rack or locking cabinet, not on a basement floor.
- Every cable labelled at both ends, with a list of which camera is on which port.
- Each camera tested for picture, night view and recording before we leave.
